Christian Wöckel

Head of RSV Franchise @Vaccines Germany, Sanofi

Christian heads the RSV Franchise in Vaccines for Germany, Austria and is responsible for the (digital) marketing and commercialization activities. Prior to this position, Christian was leading the Go-to-Market Transformation for GenMed in Germany Switzerland and Austria (GSA) since 2021. He has expertise in Digital Transformation including AI & Analytics and Agile which he gained in commercial and non-commercial functions.

Christian joined Sanofi Business Services in 2017 driving the transformation roadmap and establishing a global Center of Excellence for Intelligent Automation and Process mining. Before joining Sanofi, he worked in management consulting focusing on finance transformations, PMI and CFO strategy.

Christian studied in Germany and in the US holding a master’s degree in business administration. He gained further expertise in Digital Transformation through executive education programs at Stanford, IMD and INSEAD.
